A significant "Dead Ball" era hurler makes a pitch for your attention, with this Frank "Noodles" Hahn single-signed baseball. Having departed to the "Field of Dreams" way back in 1960, Hahn is a seriously tough autograph. Pitching from 1899-1906, the Cincinnati Reds lefty won twenty-plus games in four of his eight seasons in the Majors. The offered MacGregor R68 model ball (EX-MT) is labeled "Ridgewood Sports Shop" on the reverse sweet spot, presumably for a local sporting goods dealer. Hahn has signed ("6-7") across the west panel and sweet spot as "Frank G. Hahn" and he has included the inscription "Noodles" below his signature. The date "1954" is written above his given name in unknown hand. Full photo LOA from JSA.
