If you're looking for uniqueness, you'd be hard-pressed to find better Babe photos than these. The first is a small, sepia, 2-1/8" x 2-3/4" snapshot depicting a uniformed Ruth in what appears to be a Spring Training parking lot. There is a vertical and horizontal pocket fold, along with a period notation of "1934" in the bottom margin. The second is an 8x10 shot of an older, post-career Ruth in a bathtub, with the intriguing reverse-side stamping of "J.C.M. HAYWARD / NAVY LEAGUE BLDG." Ruth himself does not have the crystal-clear image quality of a Type I photo, though two of the foreground figures are nicely focused. Heavy peripheral wear.
