Several interesting treasures from long ago are found, with this 1786-1876 antique coin lot of (8). Beginning in the late 1700s when coins of foreign issue were still circulating in America, this small but fascinating group stretches forward to the end of the post-Civil War "Reconstruction Era". 

Featured are:  

1786 Dutch East India Company 1 Duit, known as "the original New York penny" this copper coin is housed in a First Commemorative Mint folder with printed historic account and shows GD-VG details;

1808 Spanish 8 Reales with Mexico City "Mo" mint mark, shows FN details with deference to being polished;

1818 U.S. Capped Bust half dollar (VF+);

1838 U.S. Seated Liberty half dime shows VG details with deference to multiple gouges on the obverse and the rim; 

1842 U.S. Seated Liberty dollar (FN) with deference to two dings on the rim to the left of the date;

1854 U.S. Seated Liberty quarter (FN);

1857 U.S. Flying Eagle cent (XF);

1876-CC U.S. Seated Liberty Dime net (GD), obverse GD+/reverse AG.


Also present as an added bonus, is a 1925 Stone Mountain commemorative half dollar (VF).
