For many Americans, the Eisenhower era was a feel good time. Let the good times roll again with this Dwight D. Eisenhower signature cut and ephemera grouping. The autograph resides on a 3 x 1-1/2" section of stationery, which is adhered to a 3x5 index card. Though multiple folds lines and a reverse side adhesive stain make contact with "Ike's" signature, it still shows proudly, as an ("8") strength example. For convenience in creating a framed display, the consignor has included a vintage photo of the 34th President, which is trimmed to dimensions of 3 x 2-1/2". Auction LOA from JSA.
Also present are: 1957 43rd Inauguration Official Program (EX); (3) clippings that appear to have been taken from a program associated with Eisenhower's house, which are all clean, crisp and glossy; and an 8x10 World War II Veterans Committee photo of Eisenhower addressing troops just prior to the "D-Day" invasion that presents (VG) due to a crease at the lower right corner, otherwise presents much better.
