"Marvelites" express your hero worship, with the claiming of this Captain America artwork page lot of (2). Created for Marvel Comics 1980 Captain America issue #251, these original artwork pages are both dual-signed by artists John Byrne, who did the penciling, and Joe Rubinstein, who handled inking duty. Numbered as pages "2" and "3", these spectacular 10-1/2 x 15-3/4" boards are packed with thrilling flashback images, including a recounting of Cap's first Silver Age appearance in the pages of The Avengers #4, with Namor the Sub-Mariner and the Avengers lineup of Iron Man, Thor, Wasp and Giant-Man. Also seen are Cap's nemesis the Red Skull, his partner the Falcon, and his lost love Sharon Carter.

Though light to moderate wear is evident, condition remains very pleasing, with both of the crisp boards presenting bold artwork. Page 2 bears light staining on the top border, and also on a patched in panel with Namor hurling the block of ice the good Captain is encased in, into the sea. This same panel hosts the autographs of Byrne ("9") and Rubinstein ("8"). Page "3" has traces of light soiling, with minimal impact on the presentation, which is broadly appealing. Both pages are stamped on the back with a Marvel Comics Group copyright dated "1980". Byrne and Rubinstein have signed on the center panel featuring the Red Skull, both with ("9") potency. No authentication for the signatures, due to time/cost restraints.
