A century and a half of political comings and goings unfold with this 1860s-2010s ephemera collection. This large assortment is long on presidential items, including several 19th Century publications related to James A. Garfield. Condition is very favorable overall, with only a very few items showing lesser quality.
1870s-1880s James A. Garfield related publications (5) range (VG to EX-MT) in condition with: "3/4/1881 Inaugural Address"; "Maxims of James Abram Garfield"; "The Life and Character of James A. Garfield"; "Eliza Vallon Garfield, Mother of President James A. Garfield, Addresses Made at Her Burial by B.A. Hinsdale and H.R. Cooley"; and "Arabella Mason Rudolph (Garfield's mother-in-law) Her Ancestry, Life, and Character".
1865 New York Weekly Tribune newspaper page framed to 18x24, shows moderate age appropriate wear, though all text remains distinct. Dated March 11, 1865, this page features coverage of Abraham Lincoln's second inauguration.
1902 Republican State Committee TLS display framed to 12x15. Dated 10/27/1902, this letter is signed by Tomas J. Akins, Chairman, Republican State Committee, and presents in pleasing state.
1923 E.G. Renesch "All Our Presidents" litho mounted to overall dimensions of 26x22 in a period frame. This antique litho is a revised edition of Renesch's 1921 print with portraits of all U.S. Presidents from Washington through Harding. An image of Calvin Coolidge, who succeeded Harding, has been added over the White House at bottom center. Though creasing with color breaks is present, this antique piece retains abundant display appeal.
1926 "Republican Missouri" hardcover book (VG).
1949 Radio Correspondents Association panorama photo framed to dimensions of 36x12. Light vertical creases are noted approximately every 6" across the width, otherwise an attractive piece. A caption dated 2/5/49 at top center, indicates this photo was taken at the Radio Correspondents seventh annual dinner honoring the President of the United States, which in this case was Harry Truman.

1964 LBJ for the USA poster with photo of Lyndon B. Johnson, shows considerable wear including tape repairs, but remains display worthy. While smaller versions of this particular poster with Johnson facing forward as opposed to at an angle are readily found, this 28x40 large size example positions as much tougher.

1980s 8-1/2 x 11-1/2" Matching framed displays present in better to excellent condition, with: Ronald Reagan (2) different; George H.W. Bush (2) different; invitations from the 1981 and 1985 inaugurations of Reagan/Bush as president and vice president. Clearly these items were acquired from the programs that come with inauguration invitation packets.
c.1996 Republican National Committee campaign production video tapes in original cases (8) with Dole promos and Clinton/Gore ads that are surely anti-democratic in nature.

2010 "Spoken from the Heart" first edition book in like-new state with dust jacket, signed by author Laura Bush ("10"), no authentication due to time/cost restraints.
