Stars who brightened up the Negro Leagues come up for grabs, with this single-signed baseball lot of (3), with each individually certified by JSA.

Topping the list is the great Willie Mays (HOF), who began his professional baseball career as a teenager with the Birmingham Black Barons in 1948. Mays has signed an ONL/Feeney ball (EX-MT+) on the sweet spot, by means of a black fiber-tip marker with ("9-10") potency. Full photo LOA from JSA.

Next up is Ray Dandridge (HOF), an elite Negro League standout, who also spent time in the American Association, Mexico and Venezuela. Dandridge has signed the sweet spot of an OAL/Brown ball (NM), in solid fashion with ("9") potency. JSA basic cert/sticker.

Finishing out this trio of stalwarts is Sam Jethroe, who only had a few years of MLB service, but won the NL Rookie of the Year award in 1950. Jethroe's firm ("9") strength signature resides on the sweet spot of an ONL/Coleman ball (NM) with sporadic toning. JSA basic cert/sticker.
