The political winds made a dynamic shift in direction toward the liberal side in the 1960s, when Earl Warren sat as Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. A lifelong politician, Warren authored numerous landmark opinions during his tenure at the top of the government's judicial branch, and he's also remembered for heading up the Warren Commission, which investigated the assassination of John F. Kennedy. Evidently Warren was also a good sport in providing autographs, and a pleasing example awaits your decision with this period signed 1963-1969 ONL/Giles baseball (EX-MT+). Warren (d.1974) has signed on the desired sweet spot location with ("7-8") potency, and he has included a personalization with his signature. Full photo LOA from JSA.
