Description

Take a turn toward the lighter side of comic books, with this 1940s-1950s Golden Age lot of (23). Though these ancient issues range in lesser grades, comics from this period are rapidly drying up in availability and the starting point is very inviting. A mix of popular titles, this group includes Archie related issues, Blondie and Dagwood favorites, examples with "Good Girl" artwork and even a book edited by Stan Lee.

Featured are:

1946 Timely Comedy Comics #34 with intro of Margie, Wolverton art, Stan Lee editor/art director (FR) with surface loss at top right and staining all the way through

1948 Atlas (BPG) Patsy Walker #18 (FR) stained/soiled

1948 Gem Georgie #18 (FR-GD)

1950 Dell Henry Aldrich #1 (FR)

1950 Harvey Blondie Comics #25 (VG+) very pleasing for the period

1951 Harvey Blondie Comics #26 (VG-)

1951 Harvey Blondie Comics #27 (GD-) due to 3/4" triangle of loss on the long edge of the back cover, otherwise presents much better

1951 Atlas (BPG) Patsy Walker #32 (GD-VG)

1951 Dell Henry Aldrich #4 (GD-VG)
