On August 5, 2006, Roger Clemens won the 344th game of his career. It was not a milestone victory, as Clemens had passed Tim Keefe for eighth on the All-Time career wins list at #343, but this victory further solidified the legendary status as arguably the greatest pitcher of his generation. At the tender age of 43, Clemens posted a 2.30 ERA while nearly striking out a batter per inning for the Houston Astros. Presented is a game-used baseball from that hot afternoon in Arizona. Clemens pitched eight innings, striking out five in the 9-3 Astros victory. The OML baseball displays signs of game usage with the mud-rubbed look that all MLB baseballs have. The ball has been crisply signed on the sweet spot by the “Rocket” (“9-10”) with the score and “Win 344” added on either side. As Clemens continues to amaze spectators, baseball relics such as this one become only more desirable. COA from MLB Authentication Program and TriStar.
