Note: This program is from a game between the Yankees and the Chicago White Sox
This 1920 New York Yankees vs. Chicago White Sox game program is a sterling piece of baseball ephemera from Babe Ruth’s first season as a Yankee and Joe Jackson’s last season in major league baseball. This eight-page scorecard was released when the Yankees called the Polo Grounds home and mentions the mighty Ruth and star-crossed Jackson, along with E. Collins, Weaver, Felsch, Cicotte and Faber. The front and back covers are both worn and grade (GD), with the bottom portions removed from the staple binding. The inner pages reveal moderate wear, with some instance of vintage pencil markings and dog-earring. This fragile program is a compelling piece of baseball memorabilia.
