Presented is the original artwork for ”Not Forgotten” by world famous artist George Wright. This oil masterpiece places a Vietnam veteran kneeling in subdued silence for a fallen brother at “The Wall” in Washington DC. According to the artist, “this survivor reverently symbolizes the nation’s feeling for the men and women who fought and died for more than a decade without victory, yet are now victorious”. The veteran who inspired this approximately 24-1/2 x 30” framed and matted piece is First Lieutenant Thomas E. Dolan, III, who served in Vietnam from 1970-1971. This original inspired a limited edition print run of 10,000 prints and proudly illustrates the heartbreak and heroism that defined the Vietnam Conflict.
