One of the legendary rarities of tobacco cards, this coveted 1912 T207 Louis Lowdermilk has been encapsulated a 20 Fair 1.5 by SGC. Adding to the allure of this card is the tough red Cycle reverse. The T207 Lowdermilk has long been recognized as the key rarity of the T207 brown background tobacco card series. In Jefferson Burdick’s 1930s original American Card Catalog, the Lowdermilk card was the only card in the T207 set listed as scarce and more valuable than any other individual card in the set. (At that time, the value was listed at a dollar while T206 Wagner was listed at fifty dollars). Just locating an authentic Lowdermilk example, let alone an example with the red Cycle reverse, is monumental.
