Description

With thirteen recognized national championships, seven Heisman winners and the irreplaceable Touchdown Jesus, Notre Dame has a collegiate gridiron history that is unmatched by any other university. And all Irish fans will relish the opportunity to add this magnificent piece to their collection. Hailing from circa 1956 is a full uniform of former Golden Domer two-way star Lou Loncaric consisting of a jersey and football pants. Bearing a large sewn 85, the cotton green jersey shows minimal use and remains incredibly appealing with no significant imperfections. As might be expected, the golden polyester pants show more use, notably on the knee and thigh areas. The mammoth uniform has been neatly framed to total dimensions of 52x33 and is accompanied by a 1956 Notre Dame 8x10 team photo (EX) picturing Loncaric in his 85 attire. An ideal collectible for the Irish fan looking to add a new cornerstone to their collection.
