The fall of 1950 was not a particularly happy one in Flatbush, as the beloved Dodgers could not quite overthrow “The Whiz Kids” for the National League Crown. Despite coming up short on that occasion, the Brooklyn Dodgers used their core group of players to subsequently capture four National League pennants and a World Championship. This 1950 Brooklyn Dodgers team-signed baseball is highlighted by the pennings of four Hall of Famers and numerous tough autographs. This Official League Spalding baseball contains (25) signatures and is penned in a black steel-tip fountain pen. The signatures fall primarily in the (“6-7”) range with the baseball grading a (“6”). Included are Sweet Spot: Shotton (d.1962, “7”); West Panel: Palica (d.1982, “7”), Hatten (d.1988, “6”), Cox (d.1978, “7”), Epperly (d.2003. “6”); East Panel: Barney (d.1997, “7”), Campanella (d.1993, “7”), Reese (d.1999, “7”), Belardi (d.1993, “6”); North Panel: Hodges (d.1972, “7”), Abrams (d.1997, “6”), Roe, Edwards (d.1975, “7”), Loes, Morgan, Snider (“6”), T.
