Sonny Liston ended his tumultuous boxing career with a record of 50-4, 39 victories coming via knockout. His crowning achievement took place on September 25, 1962, where he boxed the then- youngest ever heavyweight champion and former Olympic gold medalist Floyd Patterson. Convinced that Patterson had delayed a championship fight with him, Liston delivered a first round knockout to Patterson whence they finally met. In July of the following year the two men squared off again with an eerily similar ending, as Patterson lasted but two seconds longer, again being knocked out in the first round. Offered are both an Orchestra and a Mezzanine full ticket from the first bout in which Liston was crowned World's Heavyweight Champion. Both tickets have been graded as GEM MT 10 by PSA and will surely add knockout power to any pugilistic collection.
