Topps Venezuelan cards used to be the best kept secret in the industry as almost all are tough to find in even mid-grade and impossible to find in high-grade. According to the PSA population report, there are no PSA 9 graded examples from any of the 1959-1968 Topps Venezuelan issues and only (11) PSA 8 examples (.06%). The offered group contains several fine examples with all the PSA graded examples, save the Ruth Retirado, representing the highest grade for that card. Included are 1967 Topps Retirado: #144 Traynor (BGS 2.5), #147 Ruth (PSA 2); 1962 Topps Venezuelan: #66 Barragon (PSA 5); 1966 Topps Venezuelan: #340 Chance (PSA 6); 1967 Topps Venezuelan: #204 Petrocelli (SGC 50), #213 Lonborg (SGC 40), #214 Bunning (PSA 5), #237 Jones (SGC 70), #240 Santiago (SGC 70), #307 Brock (PSA 5); 1961 7-11: #8 Temple (VG, writing on the reverse), #20 Cepeda (VG-EX, writing on reverse), #27 Foxx (PSA 4) and #28 Ott (PSA 3). The last three cards in this collection are from the 1987 All-State Insurance issue with Babe Ruth, Joe DiMaggio and Ted Williams. Each card features the perforated extension, the way the cards were issued, and the cards are in NM-MT condition. The All-State issue is quite rare for a modern era card and is almost never found complete.
