Razor-sharp edges and corners, precise centering, crystal clean surfaces and vibrant colors win the day on these (4) highly graded Topps baseball stars from 1962-1969. Each Hall of Famer has been judged by SGC and assigned a technical grade between SGC 88-96. Included are 1.) 1969 Topps #95 Johnny Bench SGC 96 Mint. Of the second year Bench cards submitted to SGC, this “pack fresh” beauty shares the technical grade with only four peers and is bested by a sole example; 2.) 1962 Topps #544 Willie McCovey High# SP SGC 88 NM-MT. This card projects in the upper 10% of all 1962 Topps McCoveys which have been submitted to SGC. Coupling the shortprinted high number status of this card and the condition-sensitive nature of the 1962 series, this specimen is difficult to parallel; 3.) 1964 Topps #50 Mickey Mantle SGC 86 NM+. Above NM examples of Mantle from his playing days speak for themselves. This card is no different and is a beaming depiction of this Yankees slugger; 4.) 1969 Topps #100 Hank Aaron SGC 86 NM+. Aaron’s longball prowess knew no bounds and neither does the visual appeal of this card. Depicting Aaron at the height of his reign of terror on National League pitching staffs, this card is a game remembrance of the home run champ.
