Presented is a fantastic 1954 Brooklyn Dodgers autographed team ball with an astounding forty-one signatures. With so many signatures on the ball it is most likely from spring training in 1954. The blue ink signatures fill all six panels of this desirable orb with most scripts grading in the (5-6) range with some notable exceptions. This ONL Warren Giles baseball is absolutely loaded with Dodger signatures including Sweet Spot: Reese (d.1999, 4), Moore (d.1995, 4); North Panel: Labine, Mauro (d.2003), Zimmer, Mickens, Hodges (d.1972, 7), Amoros (d.1992, signed Ed Amoros), Shuba, Furillo (d.1989), Snider, J. Robinson (d.1972, 5); South Panel: Roe, Lyons (d.1986, coach, 7), Walker (d.1992), Milliken (d.2007), Meyer (d.1998), Erskine, Black (d.2002), D. Williams, Hoak (d.1969); East Panel: Hughes (d.2001), Pilter (d.1968, coach), Podres, Antonello (d.1993), Campanella (d.1993), Wojey (d.1991), Spooner (d.1984, 5), Palica (d.1992, 4), Gilliam (d.1978, 3); West Panel: Belardi (d.1993), D. Thompson, Alston (d.1984), Wade (d.2002), Lasorda, Morgan, Kress; Reverse Sweet Spot: Moryn (d.1996). The ball has three unidentified signatures, but the overall aesthetic of the baseball is spectacular. The Dodgers did not win the National League in 1954 but this team features nearly all of the same players from their Championship team of 1955. The ONL Giles ball is off-white with very few blemishes, grading an overall (6). The probabilily of locating another significant vintage Brooklyn Dodgers team ball with (41) total signatures is unlikely, so do not allow this paramount opportunity to pass.
