Description

In June 2007, USA Today conducted a comprehensive nationwide poll regarding America’s favorite athletes. Finishing a close second behind Tiger Woods, and just ahead of Michael Jordan, was Yankees captain Derek Jeter. At 33, Jeter has more base hits than all-time leader Pete Rose did the same age, has won four world championships and is on the fast track to Cooperstown. Presented are (8) signed Derek Jeter items, including (4) photographs, a single-signed baseball, signed glove and a pair of autographed cards. Each signature is penned in blue, black or silver ink and grades at the (“9-10”) level. Included are Signed Jeter 8x10 Photographs: Batting (“10), Fielding (“10”), Looking at Mound (“10”), Saturday Night Live with Sandler (“10”); Signed Jeter Ball and Glove: OAL Ball: (“9”, #/1996, ROY96 inscription); Rawlings Glove: Right-handed, model RBG2 signature model, tag still attached, signed on thumb (“10, silver ink), glove unused); Signed Jeter Cards: 1995 Action Packed #1A (“9”) and 1995 Action Packed #1D (“9”). The signatures from this beloved Yankees shortstop come with a COA from James Spence Authentications.
