Description

Offered is a 1947 ONL Frick Pittsburgh Pirates and Brooklyn Dodgers signed baseball with (21) signatures including Jackie Robinson. Along with the rookie year signature of Robinson is an early autograph of Kiner and a last year penning from Greenberg. This period ball is signed in blue ink and is coated by a thin layer of lacquer. Additionally, the sphere has minimal abrasion markings and moderate age spotting. Included are Sweet Spot: Greenberg (d.1986, 6), Gustine (d.1991, 7); West Panel: Gionfriddo (d.2003, 8), Rikard (d.2000, 8), E. Fletcher (d.1994, 8), Gregg (d.1991, 8); East Panel: Casey (d.1951, 8), Rojek (d.1997, 8), Branca (7), Jorgenson (d.2003, 6); North Panel: R. Sewell (d.1989, 8), Ostermueller (d.1957, 8), Taylor (d.2000, 8), King, J. Robinson (d.1972, 7); South Panel: Kiner (7), Strincevich, Roe, Wolff (d.1994, 7) and Vic Lombardi (d.1997). Highlighted by a host of prominent signatures including the heroic #42, this multi-team signed baseball comes with a COA from James Spence Authentications.
