Only eleven men in the modern history of the game of baseball ever won the Triple Crown. It has occurred only thirteen times since the turn of the 20th Century and it has not happened once in the past 40 seasons. Every player to accomplish the feat is enshrined in the halls of Cooperstown with Rogers Hornsby and Ted Williams having accomplished the feat twice. Suffice it to say, this is the most demanding and difficult feat in the game. Presented is a spectacular 11x14 color copy of an artist rendering signed by the last four men to win the Triple Crown. The art features, from left to right, the likeness and signatures and inscriptions of F. Robinson "1966" (10), Williams "521" (d. 2002, 9); Mantle "1956" (d. 1995, 10) and Yastrzemski "3419 hits" (9). COA from James Spence Authentications.
