One of the very popular early hockey issues is the V130 1924-25 Maple Crispette set. Despite being numbered 1-30, the set is actually considered complete with just 29-cards, as the impossible #15 Sprague Cleghorn was short-printed and is one of the most valuable hockey cards in existence. The presented mostly off-grade set includes: #2 Benedict (GD), #6 Cook (PR-FR), #12 Morenz (PR-FR), #13 Vezina (FR-GD), #14 Joliat (VG-EX), #18 Broadbent (GD), #21 Burch (GD-VG), #22 Green (GD-VG) and #27 Lalonde (GD-VG, miscut). Balance grades 15% VG or better, 40% GD to GD-VG and 45% lesser (9 of the 29 in the set show varying degrees of paper loss on the reverse, but none of the listed stars).
