Presented is a unique single-signed Roger Maris ball. This wonderfully preserved Styrofoam sphere made to look like a baseball weighs less than a quarter ounce and yet the ball remains in remarkable condition. Considering the surface on which the autograph rests, this Maris signature is phenomenal, grading an (“8”). The ball was produced for Harzteld’s Petticoat Lane out of Kansas City, circa 1958 and most likely dates from the time Maris was in the City of Fountains. The Maris (d.1985) signature is on a side panel and displays beautifully. The ball comes with a full LOA from JSA.
