Eddie Murray was one of the most consistent players the game has ever seen. He is a member of both the 500 HR Club and 3000 Hit Club, but he never hit 40 homeruns or had 200 hits in a season. Offered is a game-worn relic from Murray's playing days with the Cleveland Indians. This size 7-1/2 Diamond Collectibles batting helmet was used by Murray during a game sometime during 1994 and 1995, the season in which Murray collected his 3000th hit. The helmet exhibits heavy game usage with Murray's #33 on the back of the lid. The underside of the helmet has been stamped "Purchased from the Cleveland Indians" and has all the proper stickers. The Chief Wahoo logo on the front displays moderate wear and there is a small amount of pine tar present on this left-handed model.
