Finishing the 1943 National League campaign with a (105-49) record, the St. Louis Cardinals were poised to make their second of back-to-back-to-back World Series appearances. Offered is a beautiful brown full-sized Louisville Slugger measuring 35” and stamped as St. Louis Cardinals, National League Champions 1943. Featuring script or facsimiled signatures from (26) players, coaches and managers, the bat is highlighted by Musial, Southworth and Marion. The gilt lettering remains very legible and, barring a few minor abrasions including a scratch near the Louisville Slugger label, the bat has survived extremely well. A truly scarce bat that will brighten any St. Louis Cardinals collection.
