This diverse, multi-sport collection features an interesting array of sports items. The item of most interest may be an intricate 22” stained glass golf lamp. This square-based desk lamp functions perfectly and reveals only negligible glass markings. Ornately portraying an eager golfer ready to tee off, this piece is perfect for the links enthusiast. An impressive 7” 1968 Sports Specialties Orioles Nodder (GD with emblem removal) along with a circa 1910-1915 11x14 first generation matted photograph of a Baltimore area nine adds a distinctive “Charm City” flavor to this assembly. Also present is a trio of moderately worn vintage youth baseball gloves and three additional catcher’s masks. Additional baseball items include (30) 1950s Briggs Meat unused hot dog wrappers in (NM) condition, a 1920s 12” toy doll with a dented head and other markings along with a pair of other period 5” generic baseball figures in (FR) condition. A soccer-related tin container (VG), bronze-plated football pendant (EX), 9” pewter trophy (VG), 1940s college shot glass (EX) and three 1976 cast iron football wall mountings (all EX) round out the sports items. A vintage George Skillman Baltimore Universal Steam Bakery unit also makes an appearance. This 10x10x12” piece has been well preserved over the years highlighted by a vibrant red coloring and revealing only moderate color defacement and scratching.
