Description

The famous Lafayette silver dollar was a landmark issue for the United States Mint. The dollar was the first to feature a US President and subsequently the first coin that featured George Washington. Offered is a solidly stuck 1900 Lafayette dollar graded a MS 63 by PCGS with a crisp appearance and luminescent patina. The likenesses of Washington and Lafayette display high relief and the coin has an overall excellent presentation.
