Presented is a pair of sharp multi-signed items, each with a distinct theme. The first is pamphlet from the Truman Museum in Independence, Missouri. The front of the pamphlet has been signed by five former Presidents. Signed over a 25-year span, the pamphlet features the scripts of Harry Truman (d.1972, “8”) dated “8-23-61”, Richard Nixon (d.1994, “7-8”), Gerald R. Ford (d.2006, “9”), Jimmy Carter (“9”) and Ronald Reagan (d.2004, “7”) dated “Oct. 28, 1986”. The pamphlet itself exhibits moderate to heavy wear with several creases. The second signed relic is an 11x15 photograph of the sitting Supreme Court Justices from the Seventies. The nine justices are Chief Justice Warren Burger (d.1995), William Rehnquist (d.2005), Thurgood Marshall (d.1993), Potter Stewart (d.1985), Lewis Franklin Powell, Jr. (d.1998), John Paul Stevens, Harry Blackmun (d.1999) and Bryon White (d.2002). The Justices signatures are positioned beneath there images and were penned in black ink, each grading (“8-10”). COA from James Spence Authentications.
