Description

Offered is an interesting TLS of Hall of Famer Freddie Lindstrom that discusses a baseball camp at which he was the director. The letter instructs the parent that his “boys” can attend the Forest Park Baseball School at no cost with the exception of room and board. The letter has the normal folds and some light foxing along the top edge. The Freddie Lindstrom (d.1981) signature is in black ink and is absolutely superb, grading (“9-10”). The reverse of the letter has light residue from an album page that the piece was once adhered to. The letter is accompanied by the original envelope (VG) that is postmarked from 1940. COA from James Spence Authentications.
