Description

Simply known as The Greatest, this nickname only begins to describe the impact and influence that Muhammad Ali had on both the boxing and social arenas. Despite lightning fast hands, pristine footwork and a seemingly invincible persona, the boxing great was discovered to have Parkinsonism but two years after his retirement in 1981. With waning motor-skills, which have continued to deteriorate over the last quarter century, Ali’s signatures regressively became scratchy and often indistinguishable. The presented example does not show any of these symptoms, being without a doubt one of the clearest and legible Ali signatures available. Grading a (“10”) and deemed authentic by JSA, this immaculate signature was boldly penned in silver onto a pair of black Everlast boxing trunks by Ali, possibly as long as two decades ago given the flow and extremely clear nature of the signature. Fans of Ali will relish the opportunity to obtain this top notch collectible, as it will be a treasured keepsake for generations to come. Framed to a total size of 32x24 inches and accompanied by a COA from James Spence Authentications.
