The culminating card from the groundbreaking 1952 Topps baseball edition, presented is #407 Eddie Mathews. An extremely difficult card, this shortprint grades (VG) with a 2" long spider crease coursing atop the card along with moderately rounded corners and a clean back. The lanky Texan terrorized National League pitchers for a decade and a half, and is one of two Braves to play for the franchise in Boston, Milwaukee and Atlanta.
