Despite finishing in third place in the fledgling National Football League, the Chicago Bears were packed with Hall of Fame talent. With a youthful Bronko Nagurski and the explosive Red Grange, the offensive might of the Bears was difficult to parallel. An early means of promoting sporting events, this 8 x 10-1/2 broadside touts these Canton enshrinees in a contest against the Cleveland Bulldogs. With vibrant red lettering set against a sepia-toned background, the flyer boasts sharp edges and corners and is crease-free. The upper right corner reveals a dark rubbing while the surface has a wavy constitution. A prime artifact detailing the times and places of early professional football.
