The 1950s New York Yankees captured six World Series crowns, appearing in two other Fall Classics within the decade. Amongst the powerhouses on the squad were Hank Bauer, Gil McDougald, Billy Martin and the legendary Mickey Mantle. Each of the men is beautifully pictured on this black and white 8x10 photo, caressing blond pieces of lumber. Additionally, each man has penned his signature on his respective image. The Mantle (d.1995) signature does show a touch of color separation, while the Bauer (d.2007), Martin (d.1989) and McDougald remain impressive, each grading ("8-9"). A simply amazing Bronx Bomber collectible featuring the signatures of three deceased favorite sons of New York. COA from James Spence Authentications.
